When the idea of creating a FiveM community was brought up in our small, seven-person group, we originally did not intend to make a full on community. The initial plan was to keep it friends-only. However, we soon started to miss the interactions that come with a larger player base.
So, one night, we discussed it, and within hours, the ball was already rolling. We drew from our past experiences—the good and bad—across various FiveM communities we had been a part of. With that knowledge, we decided our server would be very different from other whitelisted communities.
First, we established that there would be zero ranks across the entire server, including us. Our only real role is management, ensuring the server’s backend scripts, maintenance, interviews, etc., are up to date. In-game, we would simply be members unless an issue arose that required our attention. However, in most cases, the Northern Council would rarely intervene due to our unique one-strike system, which applies to all community rules.
This system holds our members to a high standard while recognizing that it is still a video game. Our goal is to teach rather than simply punish—depending on the situation.
Next, we guaranteed that our second goal would be transparency, meaning everything would be available for all members to see—whether it’s a project still in progress or even our own detailed meeting minutes. The only things we will never publicly share are personal matters, including punishments, emails, and detailed community removals (though we will still provide a general reason).
After that, we established Section Advisors for each of our departments. These roles were put in place to help with structure and guidance under their section. We picked the most knowledgeable people in our group to guide the building and operation of their department. In the server, you will find who runs what on the 'Meet Your Council' page.
Ever since I joined the Northern Council, I've been fascinated by the way our community works. I'm Jace, and I'm proud to be a councilor, specializing in conflict resolution and server management. My passion for helping others and ensuring a smooth-running environment stems from my past experience as a Sheriff's Department Major in a previous FiveM community and a State Wildlife Supervisor in another. Those roles taught me the importance of clear communication, effective leadership, and building strong relationships.
Here at Whispers of the North, I'm always happy to lend a hand, whether it's mediating a dispute between members or troubleshooting a technical issue. Outside of this community, I'm a Lighthorse Police Explorer, constantly expanding my knowledge of law enforcement. I'm always learning new things, whether it's about conflict de-escalation techniques or the latest server scripts. So, if you ever need help, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to serve, whether I'm wearing my council hat or not.

As Winston Churchill once said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." I am committed to giving my time, effort, and dedication to this community.

Hello, my name is Ryan, and I am honored to serve as a member of the Northern Council.
With a strong passion for team-building, I take great pride in fostering collaboration and unity within our community. My primary focus is on Fire, where I work to ensure its efficiency, safety, and overall success. Additionally, I play a key role in the media sector, managing our promotional content and overseeing all social media platforms to maintain engagement and visibility for our organization. Having experienced various roles—from probationary firefighter to District Chief, and from trainee to lieutenant in multiple law enforcement departments—I bring a well-rounded perspective to my work.
Beyond my responsibilities within the council, I cherish spending quality time with family and friends. Howdy! My name is Jake and I'm pleased to be apart of the development of Whispers of the North and to serve everyone likewise!
As a proud member of the Northern Council, I’ve had the privilege of shaping the community with a focus on both Law Enforcement and Civilian Operations. Over the past eight years, I’ve served across various departments—beginning as a Deputy, stepping into the role of Sheriff for multiple departments, and even holding the position of Police Chief. Each of these experiences has given me the opportunity to grow as a leader, strengthen my understanding of community needs, and help create an environment where collaboration and inclusivity thrive. My goal has always been to build something lasting—where members feel welcome, supported, and empowered to take part in something greater than themselves.
Besides having major responsibilities and focuses in the council, I thoroughly enjoy playing music for my local church, spending time with close friends and playing with my precious Pitbull companion Abby. I truly consider myself a people person, and try to foster memories as such— making each and every moment a superb experience. I am ambitious to see what Whispers of the North is going to bring and always ready to lend a word of advice, a shoulder to lean on or even just a general answer to a question. Please if you have any concerns, needs or questions of the sort, reach out to me via Discord Direct Message or my community email -> jake@wonrp.top
